 OPINION 
WYNN, Circuit Judge: 
Plaintiff Latarsha Creekmore sued Defendant Maryview Hospital (¡°Maryview¡±),FN1 alleging that its negligent care following the Caesarean section delivery of her baby injured her. After a three-day bench trial, the district court found Maryview liable for medical malpractice and entered a judgment awarding Creekmore nine hundred thousand dollars ($900,000.00) in damages.
